Birth
Sarah A. Armstrong was born in Knox on July 13, 1863, the daughter of James Armstrong (1811-1884) and Catherine Williams (1829-1909). She was baptized at the M.E. Church in Knox on January 3, 1867.

On January 7, 1883, Sarah married George Saddlemire (11/1861-6/1942), the son of Elijah Saddlemire and Margaret Jane Saddlemire . Sarah and George had the following children:
