David A. Dougall was born Tuesday, June 08, 1915 in Schenectady, the son of the late Arthur and Nellie Cutts Dougall. Nellie Cutts married later Robert Truax. David Dougall's siblings were:

David Dougall served in the civil conservation corps and enlisted in the United States Army in 1941. A veteran of World War II, Mr. Dougall saw action as an engineer with heavy field artillery in the European Theater.

David A. Dougall Sr., 88, died Friday, Oct. 17, 2003, at Ellis Hospital in Schenectady.
Mr. Dougall was born in Schenectady, the son of the late Arthur and Nellie Dougall.
He served in the civil conservation corps and enlisted in the United States Army in 1941. A veteran of World War II, Mr. Dougall saw action as an engineer with heavy field artillery in the European Theater. He later worked as a heavy equipment operator for Local 106 in Albany.
He was the husband of the late Josephine Antalek Dougall, who died in 1977.
He is survived by three children, David A. Dougall of Diamond Point, N.Y., Susan J. Stevens of Franklin, N.J., and Paul M. Dougall of Schenectady; five grandchildren, Donna Dougall, Shannon Stevens, Patrick Dougall, Edward Stevens, and Jessica Dougall; and one greatgrandson, Marcos Reyes.
A funeral service was held Wednesday at the Fredendall Funeral Home in Altamont. Burial was in St. Cyril and Method Cemetery in Rotterdam.

KNOX — Helen F. Dougall, 82, of Township Road died Monday at the Guilderland Center Nursing Home following a long illness.
Mrs. Dougall was born Nov. 8, 1913 in Schenectady, the daughter of the late Arthur and Nellie Cutts Dougall. She moved to Delanson in 1930 and to Knox in 1942.
