KNOX Rosemary Quay Tubbs, 81, died on Tuesday, December 13, 2011 at St Peter's Hospital. She was born on June 9, 1930, daughter of the late Daniel and Bertha Quay. She is survived by seven children, Carol (John) Denton, Sally Tubbs, Kathy (Ron) Hempstead, Peggy (Ron) Fish, Lori (Scott) Marra, Lindy (Mike) Slingerland and Jamie (Cathy) Tubbs; a daughter-in-law, Ruth Tubbs; 25 grandchildren; 29 great -grandchildren; a sister, Helen (Walt) Coulter; and a brother, Richard (Tita) Quay. She is predeceased by her husband, Merlin Tubbs who died in 1969; son, Tom Tubbs and her brothers, Thaddeus, Donald, Robert and James. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, December 17, at Fredendall Funeral Home, Altamont, followed by an interment in Knox Cemetery.
