Mitchel Leonard Snyder was born in Berne, NY on January 3, 1948, son of James Conington Snyder and Ethel Mae Adams.

He served in Vietnam War in the US Navy Seabees Battalion 133 from September 1968 to September 1969.
Occupation
He retired from Albany County Department of Public Works as Director of Operations in 2001 after 36 years of service.
Marriage and children
He is married with four children and two grandchildren.
