Platt A Smith went to the National Home for Disabled Volunteers at Bath, Steuben Co., NY at age 76 with general senility and died there on July 12, 1903 of heart failure. His records there state that his residence subsequent to discharge from the army was Sabinville, PA. His record also states that he enlisted at Kingston, NY. He was at Rensselaerville in the household with Isaac Smith in 1850. He was at Durham, Greene County in 1860.|
