DiFlorio, Melva (Rendo) COLONIE Melva (Rendo) DiFlorio, 79, of Wilkins Ave., Colonie, passed away on Thursday, April 12, 2007 at Albany Memorial Hospital after a short illness.

Melva (Mickey) was surrounded by her loving children at the time of her passing. Melva was born on November 1, 1930 in Berne, N.Y. and was the daughter of the late Ethel and Frederick Rendo. She was also predeceased by her brother, Ralph and her sister, Leona and was the widow of Francis J. DiFlorio, who passed away in on March 27, 1972. Melva is survived by her four devoted children, Judy Miller (David) of Albany, Cheryl Muller (Robert) of Knox, Frances Dennis (John) of Mechanicville and Nicholas DiFlorio (Pam) of Colonie; her beloved grandchildren, Sherry Brown, Christine Adams, Frank Muller, Stephen, Laura and Katherine Dennis and Alyssa and Nicholas DiFlorio; her great-grandchildren, Robert Adams and Megan Brown; her brother, Roland Rendo; her dear friends, Charles Strobel and Joseph Fiato, both of Colonie; and her dog, Buddy. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Road, Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.). Interment will follow in St. Agnes Cemetery in Menands. There will be no calling hours. At the request of the family, memorial contributions may be made to your favorite animal shelter in her memory.
