Furman, Jemima Arabella

Birth

Jemima Arabella Furman was born May 16, 1827, in Berne, the sixth child and third daughter of James Furman Sr. (1792-1842) and Esther Whitcomb (1791-1873).

Marriage

Jemima married on March 11, 1862, Hiram Ferguson (B. Abt. 1827, NY D. March 8 1912, Albany) in Berne. They had two children:

• Walter Elwood Ferguson (1865-1865)
• William Ferguson (B. 1867)
  

Death

Jemima died on December 1, 1905, in Albany, NY. She and Hiram are buried in Albany Rural Cemetery.
