Ira Fairlee, 67, of RD Altamont, died yesterday in Albany Hospital following a long illness.

Mr. Fairlee had been employed as a stock manager by the Albany COunty highway department. A veteran of World war I, he was a member of Helderberg Post 977, American Legion.

The Fredendall funeral home, Altamont, will be open tomorrow from 7 to 9 p.m. and the funeral service will be conducted there at 2 p,m, Wednesday. Burial will be in [[k:Knox Cemetery|Knox Cemetery]].

Ira Fairlee Dies After Long Illness
