GALLUPVILLE — Minard Z. Dibble Sr., 78, of Gallupville who was a dairy farmer in the Berne area for many years, died May 14, 2000. Mr. Dibble was born in Schenevus, N.Y. He was a dairy farmer, and later worked as a truck driver for Lawyer Excavation Co. in Berne. Survivors include a wife, Shirley Delligan Dibble; five sons, Martin Dibble Sr. of Red Hook, Minard Dibble Jr. of Clarksville, Mark Dibble Sr. of Berne, Scott Dibble of Schoharie, and Todd Dibble Sr. of Schoharie; a daughter, Sandra Parsons of Delanson; a brother, Willard Dibble of East Berne; two sisters, Beatrice Burke of Rotterdam, and Elizabeth Chelelli of Colonie; 13 grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. A funeral service will be held Thursday (today) at 11 a.m. at the Fredendall Funeral Home, 199 Main St., Altamont, N.Y. Burial will be in the Knox Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1450 Western Ave,, Room 101, Albany, N.Y. 12203, or to Bassett Hospital, 1 Atwell Rd., Coopcrstown, N.Y. 13326.

He was a dairy farmer in the Berne area for many years and later worked as a truck driver for Lawyer Excavation Co. in Berne. He was the husband of Shirley Delligan Dibble; father of Martin Dibble Sr. of Red Hook, NY, Minard Dibble Jr. of Clarksville, Sandra Parsons of Delanson, Mark Dibble Sr. of Berne, Scott Dibble and Todd Dibble Sr., both of Schoharie; brother of Willard Dibble of East Berne, Beatrice Burke of Rotterdam and Elizabeth Chelelli of Colonie; also survived by 13 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. A funeral service will be held Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at the Fredendall Funeral Home, 199 Main St., Altamont, NY. Shirley Delligan Dibble

Shirley Delligan Dibble, 72, of Gallupville, died Thursday, Dec. 13, 2001 at her home following a long illness.

She was born in Vermont but lived most of her life in the Capital District area. She is survived by five sons, Martin W. Dibble Sr., of Red Hook, NY, Minard Z. Dibble Jr., of Hillsdale, NY, Mark Dibble Sr. of Berne,' Scott and Todd Dibble Sr., both of Schoharie; one daughter, Sandra Parsons, of Delanson; four sisters, Patricia Kane, of Valrico, Fla., Mildred Noack, of Schoharie, Jean Vitenger, of Fishkill, and Normadean Chrysler, of Schoharie; two brothers, William Delligan, of Schoharie, and Wayne Delligan Sr., of Delmar; 13 grandchildren; one greatgranddaughter and many nieces and nephews. Her husband, Minard Z. Dibble, Sr., a brother, Anthony Delligan, and a sister, Carol Pierce, died before her. Arrangements were handled by Fredendall Funeral Home in Altamont. Burial will be in the Knox Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Catskill Area Hospice, 1 MacArthur Ave. Cobleskill, NY 12043.
