QUAY. Vivian Lorraine Quay, 98, of Massachusetts Road, Oakdale, wife of Donald Quay, died Wednesday (May 21, 1997) at the Hillcrest Healthcare Center. She was born on Sept. 28, 1926 in Schenectady, NY. She was the daughter of Walter and Flora (Turrian) Coulter. She was a homemaker and dedicated her life to her family. She was a member of the Montville Center Congregational Church and was active in the Tri-Town Ecumenical Society. She was a member of the Montville VFW Women's Auxiliary. She was married to Donald Quay on November 23, 1949 in Schenectady, NY. In addition to her husband she is survived by three sons, Peter Donald Quay of Norwich, Keith Robert Quay of Norwich and Wayne Daniel Quay of Norwich; two daughters, Patricia Diane Alm eida of Oakdale; a brother, Walter Coulter of Knox, NY; a sister, Alice Terry of Plainfield; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Arthur Coulter; and a sister, Helen Dierks. The Montville Funeral Home of Church and Allen, Route 32 is in charge of arrangements.

Funeral services will be Saturday, (May 24), 10 a.m. at the Montville Funeral Home of Church and Allen, Rte. 32. Burial will follow in Maplewood Cemetery. Calling hours will be Friday, 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home. Donations in her memory may be made to the American Parkinson's Association, c/o St. Raphael Hospital, 1450 Chapel St., New Haven, CT 06511.
