Alton B. Becker, six-months-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Omer Becker, was buried from the Becker home on Tuesday of this week. The baby was stricken with pneumonia about a week previous to its death. He was immediately taken to the Ellis hospital in Schenectady but the best of medical attention was unable to restore the child to health. The family have the sympathy of their many friends in their deep sorrow.

Miller -- Becker

Mr. and Mrs. Omer J. Becker of Berne announce the marriage yesterday (October 7, 1937) of their daughter, Frances Ima, to Hubert Miller, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Miller, also of Berne. The wedding took place at the Lutheran church parsonage in Berne. Rev. R. B. Greene, pastor, performed the ceremony. Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Wright were the attendants.

The bride wore blue silk alpaca with hat to match, and a shoulder corsage of cerise roses. Mrs. Wright was dressed in brown crepe with brown accessories and corsage of fall flower's.

Mr. Miller is a graduate of the State School at Cobleskill. The bride graduated from the Berne-Knox Central.
