OBITUARY. BATCHER. Theodore Batcher died at thoroeidtooe of bis son, Alfred Batcher, In the town of Knox, on Sunday evening, Jane 10th in the 60th year of his age. Mr. Batcher waa a tnaa wall known in this vicinity having lived bis whole life in this community. As a man he was always considered upright and honest in all his dealings with bis fsllowraen. He waa naturally good natnred in hU association, bring highly esteemed by ail who knew him. He waa kind and oourtsous.and enjoyed the confidence and affections of hia friends, and ever thoughtful and affectionate, was beloved by his family and relation, The service* were held from the Reformed church of Knox, June Slat, the Rev. Q. O. Wuitbock being in charge of the service* Mr. Batcher leave* a wife and four children to mourn ttt» loss, Alfred Batcher, Mrs. Milo Falrlee, Mrs. D. W. Quay and Mra Stevens. They mourn nut as they who have no hope, but when they read the mysteries of God by the light of eternity/ and gather in the family circle in Heaven where there will be no more parting, then will they tee the silver lining to the dark cloud that now hovers over them.
