Theodore died 06/19/1898 per recordings in the Town of Knox. Theodore Batcher died at the residence of his son, Alfred Batcher, in the town of Knox, on Sunday evening, June 19th in the 60th year of his age.

OBITUARY.
THEODORE BATCHER.
Theodore Batcher died at the residence of his son, Alfred Batcher, in the town of Knox, on Sunday evening, June 19th in the 60th year of his age.

Mr. Batcher was a man wall known in this vicinity having lived his whole life in this community. As a man he was always considered upright and honest in all his dealings with his fellow men. He was naturally good natured in his association, bring highly esteemed by all who knew him. He was kind and oourteous and enjoyed the confidence and affections of his friends, and ever thoughtful and affectionate, was beloved by his family and relation.

The services were held from the Reformed church of Knox, June 21st, the Rev. G. G. Whitbeck being in charge of the services. Mr. Batcher leaves a wife and four children to mourn his loss, Alfred Batcher, Mrs. Milo Falrlee, Mrs. D. W. Quay and Mrs. Stevens.

They mourn not as they who have no hope, but when they read the mysteries of God by the light of eternity, and gather in the family circle in Heaven where there will be no more parting, then will they see the silver lining to the dark cloud that now hovers over them.

Mrs. Margaret Batcher died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Milo Fairlee, on Monday (June 14, 1920) morning after a few days illness. Her funeral was held at the house on Wednesday afternoon at 8 o'clock. Interment in the Knox cemetery.
