Birth

Henry Harrison Allen was born in Berne[1] on May 10, 1843[2]. He would later live in Knox.[2]

He gave his mother's name as Susan. It's possible that he forgot the given name of his mother.

From BerneHistory.org and Ancestry.com

Henry H. Allen was born 10 MAY 1843, POSSIBLY the son of John P. Allen (19 JUN 1812 - 28 DEC 1883) and Catherine Margaret Beller (28 DEC 1815 - 25 OCT 1875). His brothers and sisters MIGHT have been:

  • John Frederick Allen (23 OCT 1836 - 2 APR 1902)
  • Elmira Allen (ABT 1839 - 1869)
  • Mary A. Allen (24 MAY 1851 - 10 JUL 1861)
  • Sarah G. Allen (18 JUN 1856 - 12 JUL 1861)
