GUILDERLAND — Eleanor D. Keenholts, known to friends and family as “Susie,” died on Saturday, July 14, 2011, at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center in Guilderland. She was 92.

Mrs. Keenholts was born on Jan. 17, 1920, the daughter of the late William and Agnes (néeWilliamson) Salsburgh, in Berne. She was a long-time resident of Altamont, along with her beloved husband of more than 50 years, Elmore C. Keenholts, who died before her.

She is survived by her two sons, Mark Keenholts, and his wife, Nancy, of East Greenbush, and Scott Keenholts, and his wife, Regina, of Guilderland; her grandchildren, Marcy Wilson, and her husband, Garett, of Ballston Spa, Douglas Keenholts, and his wife, Meghan, of East Greenbush, and Andrew and Devon Keenholts, of Guilderland; and her great-grandchildren, Gregory, Madalyn, and Annie Wilson, and Ellie and Sage Keenholts.

The family wishes to thank the dedicated staff of the Fatima Unit of Our Lady of Mercy for their seven years of compassionate care. A funeral was held on July 17 at the Fredendall Funeral Home in Altamont. Online condolences may be left at www.fredendallfuneralhome. com.

GUILDERLAND Eleanor D. Keenholts "Susie", 92, passed away peacefully on July 14, 2012 at Our Lady of Mercy Life Center in Guilderland. She was born on January 17,1920, the daughter of William and Agnes (nee Williamson) Salsburgh in Berne, N.Y. Susie was a longtime resident of Altamont and was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Elmore C. Keenholts.

Susie is survived by her two sons and daughters-in-law, Mark and Nancy Keenholts of East Greenbush and Scott and Regina Keenholts of Guilderland. She was the cherished "grammy" of Marcy Wilson (Garett) of Ballston Spa, Douglas Keenholts (Meghan) of East Greenbush, Andrew Keenholts of Guilderland and Devin Keenholts, also of Guilderland. She is the great -grammy of Gregory, Madalyn and Anna Wilson and Ellie and Saige Keenholts.

The family wishes to thank the dedicated staff of the Fatima unit of Our Lady of Mercy for their seven years of compassionate care.
