Birth
Melvin Beebe[1] Lainhart was born July 17, 1900[2], the son of Irving Lainhart[2] (April 18, 1872[2] - January 24, 1963)and Ada Louise Beebe[2]. His brothers and sisters were:
- Melva Lainhart (Mrs. Albertus Sager) (January 21, 1928-January 30, 1975) of Albany[2]
- Mrs. Jesse Ellis of Delmar[2]
- Mrs. Harry Willsie of Gaithersburg, Md.[2]
- Mrs. John Beatman of Middletown, Conn.[2]
- Mrs. Myron Kaiser of Altamont[2]
- Stephen Lainhart[2]
Education
Occupation
Melvin was an insurance adjuster with the Hartford Indeminity Co. at Hartford, Conn., Utica Mutual in Syracuse, the Phoenix Indemnity and Standard Surety in Albany. At the time of his death he was with the Albany Co. Highway department.[2]

Melvin B. Lainhart married Gladys DeLaMater (- November 24, 1989[3], ) of Albany[2]. Their children were:
- Vaughn Louise Lainhart[1] (Mrs. Hugh Nevin, Jr). of Stonybrook, Long Island[2]
Death
Melvin B. Lainhart died January 24, 1963 at the Albany Medical Center Hospital.[2]
