Thaddeus "Ted" Quay was born about NOV 1917 in the Town of Knox, Albany, NY[1], the son of Daniel Webster Quay and Bertha Mae Bradt.
Ted's father, Daniel Webster Quay married ABT 1879 Idella Batcher, the daughter of Theodore Batcher and Margaret Livingston. Thaddeus' half siblings were:

THADDEUS "TED" QUAY
Thaddeus "Ted" Quay, 93, of Galway, passed away peacefully on December 25, 2010 at Maplewood Manor in Ballston Spa, NY. He was born in Berne, NY, and has lived in Galway since 1959. Ted served in the United States Army during WWII. He is a retired worker from the Alco Company and was a skilled carpenter. He also spent time in Spain as a technician for the Alco Company. Ted was the loving husband of the late Agnes Crystal Quay. He is survived by his two sons, Richard Quay (June) of Galway, and Daniel Quay (Kim) of Lake George. He was grandfather of Carrie Palmer, Shawna DeBonis, Jeremy Quay, Heidi Pisarczyk, Jessica Quay, Kevin and Kayla Hanson, and a great-grandfather of 10. Thaddeus was a loving brother to several siblings. A Funeral service will be held at the West Charlton United Presbyterian Church on Thursday, December 30, 2010 at 9 a.m. Those who would like, may call at the Richard J. Ryan Funeral Home, 2034 West St., Galway, NY, Wednesday, December 29, 2010 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Interment will be in the Gerald B. H. Solomon Saratoga National Cemetery, Schuylerville, NY, following services.
