AMOS GIDEON HAINES, born in Knox, August 21, 1839, enlisted in Company D, Ninety-first Regiment, August, 1861. He was in service nearly three years, and died of disease. His remains lie in Knoxville Cemetery. (Knox Cemetery at Knox, NY)
