Bernie was born in Castleton-on-Hudson, NY and moved to Florida from Scotia, NY in 1985. He was a retired machinist for Intermagnetics General. He was a member of Belleview United Methodist Church, Mason of Schenectady, NY, committee chairman of Live Oaks Park, Ocala, and a driver for Meals on Wheels, Scotia, NY. Survivors include his children, Joan Langevin of Albany, Dennis Bernhardt of Waltham, MA, David Bernhardt of Hudson, NY and Gary Bernhardt of Pattersonville, NY; granddaughter, Christina Langevin of Schenectady, NY. Bernie was predeceased by wife, Marjorie Bernhardt and sister, Pauletta Miller. Memorial contributions may be made to Belleview Methodist Church, P.O. Box 575, Belleview, FL 34421-0575.
