+ | LOUDONVILLE -- Catherine E. Haluska, 84, of Loudonville, died Tuesday, July 18, 2000 at Albany Memorial Hospital, after a brief illness. She was born and raised in Albany and had been a Loudonville resident for many years. Mrs. Haluska had worked as an office clerk for the former Tobin Packing Company. She was a former member of First Lutheran Church and its choir. She was an active member of the church council at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Loudonville and had coordinated many bake sales at the church. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph J. Haluska in December of last year. She was the beloved mother of Marcia Bahan and her husband, Robert of Loudonville and Lynne Salerno and her husband, Joseph of Albany; sister of the late Henry Hammann and Rev. William Hammann; beloved grandmother of Lori and Joseph Bahan. Funeral service Friday morning at 9:15 at New Comer-Cannon Family Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie (Rt. 155-south of Central Ave.), thence to Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Loudonville at 10:00 a.m. Calling hours will be Thursday from 5 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Interment will be in St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Colonie. At the request of the family, memorial contributions may be made to Good Lutheran Church, 2 Shaker El, Loudonville, NY 12211 in memory of Mrs. Haluska. | ||
