Millard Stevens was killed last Friday morning when he was struck by an automobile, while on his way to the home of his niece, Mrs. Wallace Quay. He lived only a few minutes after the accident. Dr. D. W. Sweeney attended him. The body was taken to the Fredendall Funeral home, where services were held Monday afternoon. A large number attended the viewing Sunday evening, also the funeral service Monday. Mr. Stevens is survived by his wife Lulu, one stepson, Wagar Nichols; brothers, Frank, Lucius, Everett and Webster Stevens; sisters, Mrs. Minnie Hunt of Tennessee, Mrs. Leola K. Smith of Altamont R. D., Mrs. Ida Wagoner and Mrs. Byron Adams. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
