Birth
Michael Shrader was born July 1, 1782, a son of Sebastian Schroeder and Anna Kraft. His known siblings were:

- Margaret Schroeder
- Dolly Schroeder
Marriage & Children
He married Jemima Ostrander who was born on October 4, 1787, a daughter of Petrus Ostrander and Catharina Ehring.
Death
Michael died on April 1, 1855 and Jemima died on September 24, 1860. Both are buried at the Old Ostrander Burial Ground in Knox.
