Shirley A. Dexter was born March 14, 1934, the daughter of the late Luther Dexter and Minnie L. Gaige Dexter of Knox. Her brothers and sisters were:

Shirley Dexter was a title clerk for the State Department of Motor Vehicles for 22 years. She was a member of the Knox Reformed Church and its consistory, and war, a long-time Sunday school teacher; She was a member of the Thompson's Lake Reformed Church guild, and past president of the Knox Fire! Company auxiliary.

SHIRLEY A. DEXTER
KNOX — Services were held this morning for Shirley A. Dexter, 54, of Knox, who died Monday, Nov. 14, in Albany Medical Center after a long illness.
She was born March 14,1934, the daughter of Minnie Dexter of Knox and the late Luther Dexter. She was a title clerk for the State Department of Motor Vehicles for 22 years. She was a member of the Knox Reformed Church and its consistory, and war, a long-time Sunday school teacher; She was a member of the Thompson's Lake Reformed Church guild, and past president of the Knox Fire Company auxiliary.
She is survived by three sisters, Mildred Hoffmann of Schenectady, Barbara L. Dexter of Troy and Nancy J. Dexter of Knox; and three brothers; Merlin Dexter of Albany, Charles and Richard Dexter both of Knox and several nieces and nephews. A sister, Cora Spadaro; and a brother, Robert Dexter, predeceased her.
Funeral services were held from the Knox Reformed Church) burial was in Knox Cemetery, arrangements were by Fredehdall Funeral Home,/Altamont.
Memorial contributions may be made. to the Knox Reformed Church Memorial Fund or the. American Cancer Society.
