He married Mary Garfield at about 1855 and had the following children:
- Mary Drum, born at about 1857 at Cobleskill, Schoharie Co., NY
- Charles Drum, born at about 1872
- Emma Drum, born at about 1875, presumably in Knox, Albany Co.,NY
His Life
Joseph was a farmer for all of his life.
He was an active member and an officer of the Charles McCulloch Post #645 of the GAR.
