Birth
Charles Hochstrasser was born on April 2, 1845[1] in Berne to Peter Hochstrasser (B. April 18, 1799, D. April 20, 1880) and Eliza Weidman (B. July 20, 1808,D. Feb 15, 1887).[2] He was one of seven children.[2]
Marriage & Children
He married Mary _____ who was born at about 1849 in New York, at about 1870. They lived in Hackensack, NJ and he was a confection retailer. They had no children.

Death
Charles died on November 13, 1891.[6] His widow, Mary, received her pension from his Civil War service.
