Birth

Peter G. Bouck was born 11 July 1929 (July 11, 1828[1], Middleburgh, son of George Bouck and Hanna Maria Loucks[1].[2] He was a brother of Hamilton Bouck who also served in the Civil War.

Marriage & Children

On March 27, 1851 at Schoharie he married Sarah Maria Becker[3], born 2 Aug. 1829 Town of Wright, died 6 Jan. 1881, Town of Berne. She was the dau. of John Peter Becker and Elizabeth Werner.[2] They had two daughters born in Middleburgh:

  • Orpha, b. ca. 1849[4], died before 1860[3]
  • Florina b. ca. 1852[4] died before 1860[3]

Neither child was named as a survivor and Sarah declared that she and Peter had no children in her pension file.

Peter G. Bouck died on November 27, 1864 at City Point, Va. as a result of being wounded during the Civil War.[7] His burial took place at the Gallupville Cemetery, Schoharie County.
