Birth

Frederick was born on February 22, 1839 in Rensselaerville, a son of Asa Palmer and Hannah, a daughter of Daniel and Phoebe Dean Tanner.[1]

Marriage & Children

At about 1865 Frederick married Malvina Brezee on June 22, 1863 in Franklinton, NY. and had the following known children:

  • Franklin Palmer born April 27, 1866; died May 27, 1952 in Montclair, NJ.
  • Martha Palmer born December 14, 1869; died January 24, 1962 in Albany, NY.
  • Ellen Rosealba Palmer, born November 02, 1873; died April 02, 1942 in East Orange, NJ.
  • Frederick A. Palmer, born December 21, 1875; died June 20, 1922 in Waterbury, CT
  • Robert C. Palmer, born November 10, 1878; died February 03, 1968 in Hartford, CT
  • Calista Tompkins Palmer, born November 24, 1880; died August 1914 in Albany, NY.
  • Newton Brezee Palmer, born June 05, 1884; died August 19, 1962 in Philadelphia, PA.

Death

Frederick died on September 10, 1903 at Albany, NY and was buried at the Rensselaerville Cemetery in Rensselaerville, NY. His wife also died in Albany, NY on June 14, 1919 and is buried beside him.

Westerlo
The remains of Frederick Palmer, a former resident of this place, were brought from Albany and interred in the Rensselaerville cemetery on Saturday last. He is survived by a widow, four sons, and four daughters.
