ALBANY -- Elwyn G. Parker, 76, died June 14, 1997 at the Villa Mary Immaculate, after a long illness. Born in East Berne, Mr. Parker lived in Delmar and retired from the Town of Bethlehem Highway Dept. He was a World War II Army Air Force Veteran of the European Theatre and was awarded a Bronze Star. He was the husband of Margaret Klapp Parker; father of Pamela Maurer of Albany, Paul J. Parker of Delmar and Penny Barone of Albany; brother of Adele Van Amerongon of Castleton and the late Shirley Malary, Everett and Gilbert Parker; grandfather of Michelle Maurer, Breanna, Paul, Bethany Parker, Angela, Carolyn, Joseph and Stephen Barone; also survived by several nieces and nephews. Funeral services Tuesday 1 p.m. in the Daniel Keenan Funeral Home, 490 Delaware Avenue. Relatives are invited and may call Tuesday from 12 to 1 p.m. at the funeral home.
