Seymour W. Armstrong was born in Knox August 23, 1855, the son of James Armstrong and Catherine Ann Williams.
Occupation
He was warden at the Albany Jail in Albany, NY.
Marriage & Children
On December 25, 1877, Seymour married Augusta Olivia Allen (8/5/1851 - 2/5/1937), the daughter of Sylvester Allen and Sarah Bunzey. They had the following children:

On March 12. Walter Armstrong, a month shy of his 99th birthday, was at rest.
He was born April 9, 1881 on Knox Cave Road, Knox, one of four sons of Augusta Allen and Seymour Armstrong. He attended the Knox School and Albany Business College on Washington Ave. in Albany.
Among his many lines of employment, he spent a brief time in the payroll office of the American Locomotive Co. in Schenectady.
