Life
We know little about Phillip Blakeslee at this time. In the 1870 US Census in Coeymans Hollow, Albany County, NY, there was a Phillip Blakesley age 27 who was working as a farm laborer for Martin Merrit (B. abt 1827) and his wife Lydia.[5] In 1890 Phillip was recorded as living in South Westerlo.[4] It appears that Phillip and his family left New York State after 1892.
Death
Phillip died on July 13, 1901 at Morris, NY[6]
