Birth
James was born on January 11, 1760 at Rahway, NJ, a son of Job Conger and Lydia Coddington. [1]
Marriage & Children
In 1784 he married Elizabeth McNab who was born in December of 1769[1]. They had the following known children:
- Margaret Conger was born at about 1785, she married Ovid Chesebrough[1]
- William Conger was born at about 1788, he married Katherine Follock[1]
Sometime between 1805 and 1809 he married Sarah Doty who was born in Connecticut on July 7, 1773, a daughter of Samuel and Mercy Doty. Sarah and James had the following known children:
- Eliza Ann Conger who was born at about 1810
- James Conger who was born at about 1812. [2]
After the death of James, Sarah married Deliverance Smith.
Death
