Nathan Chesebro was born on July 5, 1775 at Stonington, New London, CT, a son of Nathaniel Chesebrough and Mary Hallum. [1]

On October 12, 1804 in Neversink, Sullivan Co., NY , he married Cynthia Crary who was born on May 21, 1786, a daughter of Thomas Crary and Mehitable Mason. Their known children were:
