Mrs Jennie Smith Stevens, wife of Everett Stevens, died early Wednesday (June 28, 1939) at her late home in Schenectady where she had been ill for the last six months She was 52.
Mrs Stevens was born in Meadowdale, Town of New Scotland, daughter of Andrew and Catherine Smith. She received her early education in the public schools in the New Scotland, township.
About 30 yeans ago she was married to Mr. Stetems They moved to Schenectady some 20 years ago.
Survivors include her husband, two sons, Victor A Stevens, Schenectady, Gordon E. Stevens of the U. S. Army, one brother, Sidney Smith, of Meadowdale; three sisters, Mrs. Richard Rockwell, Mrs Jesse Lasher, Voorheesville; Mrs. James Warner, Albany.
Funeral services will be held from the late borne, 1018 Park avenue, Schenectady, Saturday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock. Burial will be in [[k:Knox Cemetery|Knox Cemetery]].
