Cora Dexter Spadaro of Altamont, a former clerk with the State Department of Taxation and Finance, died Sunday, Aug. 29 at Guilderland Center Nursing Home after a long illness.
A communicant of St. Lucy's Roman Catholic Church, Altamont, she was a member of Boyd Hilton Post, VFW ladies auxiliary in the village. She was the daughter of Minnie Dexter of Knox, who survives her, and the late Luther Dexter.
Other survivors include her husband, Joseph P. Spadaro; two sons, Robert J. Spadaro of Delmar and Ronald P. Spadaro of Gettysburg, Pa.; four sisters, Shirley Dexter of Knox, Mildred Hofmann of Schenectady, Nancy Dexter, of Knox and Barbara Dexter of Troy; four brothers, Merlin Dexter of Schenectady and Charles, Robert, and Richard, all of Knox; and several nieces and nephews.
