Birth

William was born in Knox in January of 1829, a son of Peter Morenus and Maria Schoolcraft

He married at about 1851, Therzy Walker who was born in 1827. They had the following known children:

William Morenus Obituary - Amsterdam Newspaper — October, 1907

Jay Morenus and Mrs. Mary McNeil and son, Wesley, have just returned from West Fulton, being called there to attend the funeral of Mr. Morenus' father. WIlliam Morenus, who was quite well known in this city, where he frequently visited. Mr. Morenus was in his 78th year. He was the last member of the family to pass away.
