The Frisbee House erected 1790-91 "A store and tavern, a doctor's and justice's office, the Federal Library, a ballroom, a Free Mason's Lodge and the family were all, at one time, accommodated in this house." 1922-1972 it was known as the "Catalpa House" owned and operated by Miss Edith Lounsbury until her demise in 1974.
