The Grist Mill Gift Shop was opened in the Grist Mill in the hamlet of Rensselaerville by Mrs. Riter who was Executive Director of the Rensselaerville Historical Society which is based out of the mill. The gift shop was under the auspices of the society as a mean of fund raising. It is now closed, but the historical society is still based there.[1].
