District No. 7 had 23 school age children within its boundaries in 1886, and of that number 21 attended school with an average daily attendance of 13. The school was valued at $300 and its library of 30 books had a value of $5. Among the teachers of District 7 were: Clyde Ball, Elmer Saddlemire, Mary Allen, Clarence Barber, Merta Zimmer, Julia Ackner, Elmina Babcock, Charles Becker, Miss Putnam, Myrtle Fairlee, and Edith Schmidt. The last teacher prior to consolidation with the Berne-Knox system was Howard Zimmer. The former schoolhouse of District 7, located on the Knox-Gallupville Road, is now used as a farm building and is owned by William Shedina.
