AREA BOY SCOUT TROOPS HOLD CAMP0REE

Annual Camping Event Held At Knox Cave; Robinson Relates Vicinity History Cooperation In County .During /Current Project Pleases The Officials; Meeting June !26 Many Heldeibeig district Boy Scouts and their leaders attended a camporee on the property of D. C. Robinso, near Knox Cave, last week end. THe program was under the direction of Russell Miller of Delmar, camping chairman of the Herlderberg district.

Highlights of the camporee were a campfire program Saturday Night. Mr. Robinson told of the history of the area. Entertainment was given by Harry Garry of Berne, widely known as the "Singing Farmer."

On Sunday the Rev. John J. Paulsen, vicar of St. Stephen's Episcopal church of Elsmere, conducted services for Protestants, and Catholics were provided transportation to St. Lucy's church, Altamont, to attend mass.

Taking part in the program were District Chairman Millard F. Larkin, James M. Voorhees, C. Leon Gustin, Jack Erickson, and Milton F. Prue.

Boy Scout troops from Delmar, Elsmere, Selkirk, Slingerlands, Ravena, Voorheesville, Altamont, McKownville, Berne, Westerlo amd Rensselaerville participated in the camporee.
