Helderberg Kiwanis To Receive Charter
Friday evening, May 20, the newest club of Kiwanis International in the Capital Division will be chartered. Sponsored by the Kiwanis Club of New Scotland, the Kiwanis Club of the Helderbergs will receive its charter from Charles B. Wall, governor of New York District, Kiwanis International.
General co-chairmen of this event are Robert Day of the Helderberg Club, and Robert Zautner of New Scotland. Invitations have been sent to the Mohawk and Van Rensselaer Divisions to help mark the occasion of the first new club in the Capital Division in 10 years.
There will be a social hour at the Berne hotel between 6:30 and 7 p.m. The dinner meeting will begin at 7:30 p. m. at the Foxenkill Grange hall.
