Edward R. Cassidy, a former resident of Altamont and the owner of the famous Cassidy Castle (now Young Women's Summer Camp), is stopping at Hotel Altamont for a few days. Mr. Cassidy has recently returned from Europe, where he has been for the past six years. Lately he has been in France near the seat of the war, superintending some of the ambulance work at the front. On the death of his brother, William Cassidy, which occurred in England recently, he gave up the work and returned to this country. He will have charge of the settlement of his brother's estate.
