Knox Cave Notes Last year the best time in speed contests for 16 laps at Knox cave rink was 3 minutes 27 seconds by Charles Riley of Albany.
This year the contests are on Thursday evenings and the first of the series was held August 5. This race was won by D. Valletta, Schenectady, in 3 minutes 12 seconds.
Winners on Aug, 5, 12, 19 and 26, will compete for first place on Sept. 2.
