The regiment had a total enrollment of about 1,300, of whom 2 officers and 49 en were killed and mortally wounded; 3 officers and 78 men died disease and other causes; total deaths, 132.

Disabled by injury

  • Augustus Warrick a native of Schoharie County and a resident of Rensselaerville was 20 years old and a Private of Company K when he was accidentally injured while shoeing horses and still hospitalized when he was discharged for his disability from the McDougall Hospital in New York Harbor on June 10, 1865.
