This battery was organized about December 21, 1861 and transferred to the 32nd battery: February 4, 1865. During its service, lost by death, killed in action, 8 enlisted men; of wounds received in action, 1 enlisted men; of disease and other causes, 3 enlisted men; wounded and recovered, 3 officers and 29 enlisted men.
Wounded and recovered:
- Franklin Tanner from Rensselaerville was a 21 year old Private of Company B when he was wounded at Petersburg, VA on June 18, 1864. He was discharged for his disability on June 9, 1865 at Albany, NY.
