He was born in Albany on June 1, 1941 to the late Howard and Celia Wright. He worked as the head custodian for Berne-Knox-Westerlo Schools for 30 years. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Judy Wright; three sons, Craig Wright, Jeremy Wright and Andrew (Amy) Wright; three grandchildren, Alexis, Andrew Jr. and Arlan; a sister, Barbara Eriksen; a sister-in-law, Carolyn Wright; as well as many cousins and nephews. He is predeceased by his brother, Bob Wright. A funeral service will be conducted on Sunday, February 15, 2009 at 4 p.m. at the South Berne Christian Congregational Church. Friends may call prior from 12 to 3 p.m. at the Fredendall Funeral Home, Altamont. A spring burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Berne, N.Y. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the South Berne Christian Congregational Church, 101 Church Rd., Berne, NY 12023 or the American Heart Assoc., P.O. Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220.
