Birth

Jonathan Wood was born at about 1801 in Schoharie County, NY a son of Benjamin and Sarah Taggart Wood[1]

Marriage & Children

He married Sally Ann[2] Whitelaw at about 1836[1] They had the following known children:

  • Nancy Wood, married Perry Gifford[2]
  • Jay Danforth Wood [2]
  • Datus Ensign Wood [2]
  • Mary J. Wood [1] not mentioned in Jonathan’s will

Death

Jonathan died on August 19, 1855 and was buried in his family burial plot in Knox.
