LEO D. WARNER

SLOANSVlLLE - Leo D. Warner, 64, died Tuesday, after being stricken while hunting in the Town of Schoharie. He was born in the Town of Knox, May 10,1925. He worked as a fireman for the Albany Fire Department until his retirement in 1965. He was a member of the Richmondville Fish and Game Club, and the Helderberg Post 977, American Legion.

He is survived by two sons, Clifford L. Warner of Albany and Wayne R. Warner of Richmondville; one daughter, Cheryl E. Miller: of Albany; two sisters, Blanche Olsmit of Rotterdam and Elsie Carlotti of Schenectady; two brothers, Vernon (Kelly) Warner of Altamont and Alfred (Kermit) Warner of Schenectady; three grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Friday, Dec. 15 at 11 a.m. at the Fredendall Funeral Home, Altamont. Friends may call tonight, 7-8 p.m. Burial will be in Knox Cemetery.

VISITS BROTHER

Altamont - Word has been received from Cpl. Harold S. Warner that he has been to visit his brother, Pvt. Leo D. Warner. Both are in Germany. Harold first learned of his brother's location through a friend who happened to be in Germany and met Leo. Harold was somewhat surprised not to find the little brother he left home over three years ago, but in his stead a grown man (more than six feet tall.)
