Obituary

Francis Warner

At the ripe old age of 83 years, every one of which was full of toil and honest effort, the life of Mr. Francis Warner was closed rather abruptly Jan. 2, at the home of his son, Luther Warner, in Albany.

Mr. Warner had been enjoying his usual good health and had left his home at the head of Warner's Lake to make his usual winter visit at the home of his two sons who live in Albany. In some way he contracted cold and pneumonia soon closed his lungs and his life. His remains were brought to his home near the Lake, where the funeral services were conducted Saturday, Jan 4, by Rev. C. H. Traver, pastor of the Lutheran church at East Berne, of which Mr. Warner had been a life-long member and the senior elder at the time of his death. The body was interred in the family plot on his own farm along side of those of his father and grandfather. Mr. Warner is survived by three sons, Arthur Warner, who resides on the old homestead; Luther C. Warner of Albany, whom everyone knows, and Charles Warner, who also resides in Albany and is with the John G. Myers Co.
