KNOX  Lewis (Bub) Tubbs, 38, died Sunday, July 29, 2007.

Lewis was born in Albany, the son of Lewis and Charlotte Tubbs of Knox. He graduated from Berne Knox Westerlo High School in 1987 and worked as an equipment operator for the Albany County Highway Dept. in Berne. He loved to ride his "Harley" with his friends and was an avid outdoors man. He also enjoyed going to Lebanon Valley Speedway. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Michelle Tubbs; two stepdaughters, Nicole Derry and Jennifer Derry, both of Knox; three sisters, Kathy (Leon) VanWormer of Delanson, Pam (Dave) Raynsford of Voorheesville and Tammy (Tom) Krueger of Knox; one nephew, Donald Filkins; four nieces, Lisa Filkins Brown, Nicole Filkins Greklek, Stacy Travis and Heather Travis; his goddaughter, Danielle Krueger and one grandniece, Kierra Brown. He is also survived by his good friends, Kenny Cox, Chuck Plant and Dan Jacobs. Friends and relatives are invited to call on Wednesday from 3-7 p.m. at the Fredendall Funeral Home, Altamont. In lieu of flowers, those who wish may make contributions to the Lebanon Valley Speedway Drivers Point Fund, PO Box 9, West Lebanon, NY 12195.
