In 1955, they moved to [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Feura_Bush,_New_York Feura Bush, Albany County], living there until 1961. That year, Charlie and Frances moved to [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Slingerlands,_New_York Slingerlands, N.Y.]. They had no children.

Charles died February 24, 1976, at Albany Medical Center in [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Albany,_N.Y. Albany, N.Y.]. At the time of his death he was 66 years old. He was buried in Fisher Cemetery in [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rotterdam_(town),_New_York Rotterdam] on February 27.
